Winners of the Winkle Bowling Club men’s Kwik Spar trips played on Thursday, 8 August, are Bill Hobbs, Steve Liebetrau and Herbie Hoffman.
The second session was won by Jimmy Ronald, Gert Richter and Paul Els and the 100 board by Les Gibbens.
In the nominated mixed pairs, Eddie Bingham and Maureen Warrior defeated Coy Schrauven and Maureen Griffin. Members are requested to check the board for their competition games to be played.
The green is open for competitions on Saturday, 17 August. The men’s 2-4-2 will be played on Thursday, 22 August, at 8.30am for 9am, contact Barrie de Wee. Social bowls are on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1.30pm for 2pm.
There will be a meal on Friday evening, put your name on the board or contact Trish Farmer.
The club wishes all those with birthdays in August a blessed year ahead.
