Don’t miss Toti BC’s AGM

Good bowling to the one man and two women’s teams playing the KZN pairs on Saturday and Sunday, 17 and 18 August.

In the men’s nominated pairs semi-finals at Toti Bowling Club, Greg McLeod and Barry Bush beat Pete Callaghan and Brian Masters.

In the men’s senior singles, Alec Stirzaker overcame Barry Bush, and Greg McLeod defeated Ian Crouch. Jaylene Fagan got the better of Toni Roberts in the women’s novices singles and in an all family game, Dani Cardoso beat her mother, Cathy Badenhorst.

Good wishes are sent to this week’s birthday boys, Adie Fuller, Eric Gardner, Gerald Chalder-Royle, Alan Foster, Dave Gardner and Bill Williams. TGIF will return on Friday, 16 August, after the public holiday last week; members’ draw will stay at R100 and the key draw at R2 710.

The club’s AGM and prizegiving takes place on Saturday, 7 September, at 1pm. Registration and voting will be from noon. Nominations lists for committee and selectors will be on the board until 5pm on Friday, 23 August.

Bring a plate of snacks to share after the prize-giving. Winners and runners-up to wear red club shirts.
