Women bowlers ace Winkle Kwik Spar trips
Results for the women’s nominated 2-4-2 semi final played on Wednesday, 3 July.
The club competitions list for Winkle Bowling Club for the men and women’s nominated trips and the nominated mixed 2-4-2 pairs is up on the board.
Members are urged to get these games going as soon as possible. All games to be paid for prior to play, see Norma Raath for further information. Club subs of R660 are due by the end of July. Results for the women’s nominated 2-4-2 semi final played on Wednesday, 3 July.
Lou Bingham and Elmarie Young defeated Elaine Critchlow and Estelle van der Merwe. In the women’s Kwik Spar Winkle trips played on Thursday, 4 July overall winners were Jeanne Alexander, Jane Coetzee and Dawn Schauer. Second session went to Joan van Rensberg, Jacqui Fouche and Jean Snyman while the first session was won by Vera Broskie, Maureen Griffin and Toni Roberts. The 100 board was won by Maureen Griffin and the mystery prize by Tokkie de Kock. The monthly mixed trips (tabs in) takes place on Saturday, 13 July at 8.30am for 9am. Social bowls is on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1.30pm for 2pm. There will be a meal on Friday evening, 12 July, put your name on the board or contact Trish Farmer if you wish to attend.
The club wishes all those with birthdays in the month of July a blessed year ahead.
