Shark nets removed at Pipeline Beach

Authorities are monitoring the situation which might also result in nets being removed and beaches being closed.

Due to severe sea conditions and swell, shark nets are being removed from Pipeline Beach today (Wednesday, 19 June) and the bathing area is closed to the public. Isipingo and Ungababa beaches will be closed by the weekend.

Authorities are monitoring the situation which might also result in nets being removed and beaches being closed for bathing at Amanzimtoti Main Beach, Warner Beach, Winklespruit and Karridene.
