Beware of knife-wielding thugs in Toti

People are warned not to walk alone.

Pedestrians are warned to be on the lookout after another person was robbed on the bridge between the taxi rank and Rosslyn Road on Wednesday evening, 5 June.

There have been a number of incidents reported on local social media crime pages of thugs robbing people and disappearing into the taxi rank. There have also been armed robberies on Toti promenade and on the beachfront recently.

“There have been a lot of robberies in that area where people are held by knife point,” confirmed Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) committee member, George Snodey. “People are warned not to walk alone and even if you are in a group, be prepared to be accosted.”
