Motorcyclist miraculously survives collision

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and fortunately didn't require further treatment.

At about 1:35pm yesterday (Thursday, 6 June) Vema Paramedics received a call about a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist, which took place in Amanzimtoti CBD.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and fortunately didn’t require further treatment.

Upon receiving the call, Vema medics advised the caller on scene to remain calm and not attempt to move the injured biker.

“Upon arrival, medics found the injured biker lying on the ground. Further assessment revealed he sustained minor injuries. The injured biker fortunately walked away from the incident with mere grazes to his knee. The gentleman declined hospital transport. Vema medics ensured the patient received the best care on scene. The exact cause of the incident is not known,” shared Vema Paramedics Facebook page
