Overcome your overwhelming feelings

These steps will help you relax and breathe.

Half the year is almost over and there is so much left to do.

But as the months come and go, you feel an overwhelming sensation. The stress builds up and your breathing becomes heavier. Stop! Right now, you are panicking and probably overthinking.

Follow these steps that will help you relax and breath: 

  1. It’s not the end of the world, just the beginning of a new month:  Your mind is in an overdrive mode as you approach another a new month. Don’t panic, create a to-do list and put your goals on paper. A visualisation of your goals will help you achieve it.

2. Breathe! Before you pass out: The deeper and slower you breath, the more calm you will become. More oxygen will pass through your brain and it will be easier to decipher your thoughts.

3.  Exercise: Sometimes you need to get your blood pumping to get other juices flowing.

4. Talk: If you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed with life, don’t bottle it up. Talk to someone you trust, they might have good advice and a better shoulder to lean on.

5. Take a break: Don’t push yourself too hard and don’t get caught in the mass of your. Take a break once in a while and relax.  Once your mind is clear, you are able to conquer the world again.
