‘Fairy Godmother’ to create magical matric ball for deserving pupil

One lucky girl will be chosen to have the matric farewell of her dreams.

Amanzimtoti’s Fairy Godmother is ready to wave her wand and turn one lucky learner’s matric ball into a magical night to remember.

Caroline Bowker, known as the ‘Fairy Godmother’, after all her amazing and selfless community acts with helping young girls with dresses for their special night over the years in Toti, has teamed up with Shellaine Smyly, Amanda Le Roux and Michaela Venter to offer one girl the chance to win the matric farewell of her dreams.

“We have joined forces and put together a package for a girl who isn’t in a position to afford all the nice (and costly) things that goes with a matric farewell,” said the godmothers.

This fortunate girl will receive:

* A free loan of any of the Fairy Godmother’s dresses for the night.

* A free photoshoot by Dragonfly Photography in Amazimtoti at a location of their choice and this covers pre-drinks, a make-up session, hairstyling session and car photos.

* Her nails done up free of charge by Nails By Clare to suit her dress.

* A free hair upstyle by Hair by Sue-Ann.

* A free make-up session by Vanilla Glitter that will suit her dress.

“This is our way of giving back to the community and we want to see one deserving girl enjoy the matric farewall dance she has always dreamed of having. Contact us if you want to nominate someone, or if you know of someone who may need a few Fairy Godmothers on the night. We will need contact details, as well as a photo of the girl that you are nominating.

“We will then sit down as a group and choose the girl, with all the right channels being followed, and get in contact with the girl and her family.”
If you would like to donate something to the package to make the lucky girl’s night even more special or nominate a girl, call Michaela on 074-535-7243 or send an email to satasteoflife@gmail.com before the close of business on Thursday, 2 May.
