Isipingo martial artists triumph at IFFSKA tournament

The Isipingo Martial Arts Club is now in its 38th year and currently has 23 students

THE Isipingo Martial Arts Club students participated in the 26th IFFSKA annual friendship tournament on Saturday, 4 May at the Howard College, Durban.

Altogether, 13 students won a total of 26 medals, an achievement that sensei Razak Ally, who is the chief instructor, was very proud of. He thanked sensei Erick Govender for the warm reception and hospitality to all who participated in the tournament.

Ally also thanked all the students and parents of Isipingo Martial Arts Club for their commitment and dedication to the club. He also thanked sensei Waseem Khan and sensei Fiona Khan for training and mentoring all the students.

The Isipingo Martial Arts Club is now in its 38th year and currently has 23 students who train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Lotus Park community hall from 4.30pm to 6pm. Contact sensei Seggie Murugan on 083-640-7774 for more information.
