Verge competition deadline extended
The competition was scheduled to end on Wednesday, 10 May, but due to last month’s storm the date has been extended.
Due to last month’s storm, which wreaked havoc on the South Coast, Sapphire Coast Tourism (SCT) has extended the deadline for this year’s verge competition.
SCT has joined forces with Illovo Nursery and the South Coast Sun to host a business, residential and public space verge contest.
“We initially said the competition will end on Wednesday, 10 May, but we have extended the deadline to 10 July. That should allow enough time for the verges to get back into shape,” said SCT chairperson, Romy Wenzel.
