Toti school donates desks to deserving pupils

The 60 desks were equally shared between Sheshisa and Dlambula primary schools in Magabeni.

There were celebrations at two local schools when they received a donation of much-needed desks from Amanzimtoti Primary School on Tuesday morning, 30 April.

“When we upgraded our furniture we thought of who we could donate our old desks to and I thought of the recent plea that went out in the SUN newspaper about the urgent need for desks in the outlaying schools,” said Amanzimtoti Primary School principal, Doug Lanyon.

Over the years Toti Primary has generously donated about 700 desks to other schools.

The 60 desks donated by Toti Primary were equally shared between Sheshisa and Dlambula primary schools in Magabeni, much to their principals’ delight.
