Strike affects municipal services

Keep refuse in and use water sparingly.

Amanzimtoti residents are warned that due to a South African Municipal Workers’ Union strike taking place in the city, all municipal services will be disrupted until the strike is resolved.

That’s the warning from ward 97 councillor, Andre Beetge, who asked residents to keep their refuse in, use water sparingly and if they suffer any breakages to try and sort it out for themselves.
