Use egg face masks for beautifully, nourished skin

Egg white is great for tightening and toning skin. Working wonders for greasy skin, it shrinks large pores and reduces excess sebum.

Yes you read right. Not only are eggs beneficial to your health when ingested, it can also promote hair and skin health when used as masks – what a win!

Bellatory shared in its article that egg white is great for tightening and toning skin. Working wonders for greasy skin, it shrinks large pores thereby reducing excess sebum. Large pores are also potential breeding grounds for bacteria that cause bulbous zits and cysts, which means pore-tightening egg white can help reduce acne.

Additionally, egg white contains an ingredient known as lysozyme, an enzyme that kills acne-causing bacteria by digesting their cell walls.

Egg nutrients and how they benefit your skin

Potassium: Hydrates, moisturises and reserves moisture in skin cells.
