Housebreaker caught with stolen pipes and cellphone

The suspect was caught by an ET Rapid response officer.

A housebreaker was nabbed by an armed response officer after breaking into an Athol Paton Drive premises in Amanzimtoti on Wednesday, 27 March. ET Rapid Response received a report of a suspicious person on the property and shared the information on the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) radio network.

The CCPO, ET, Blue Security, Metro Police K9 Unit and Amanzimtoti SAPS responded. The suspect was caught by an ET Rapid response officer. He stole copper pipes, broke into the house and stole a cellphone.

The thief stole copper pipes and broke into an Athol Paton Drive house where he also stole a cellphone.
