Two suspects attempted to rob two youngsters on Beach Road, Amanzimtoti on Wednesday evening, 13 March. Members of the public chased the suspects along Beach Road to Shad Place where the one suspect hid in the bush.
The incident was reported to the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) and it was broadcast over its radio network. A Blue Security response officer responded and apprehended the one suspect who was handed over to Amanzimtoti SAPS.
