Full moon beach walk is a treat

EDITOR – Last week’s full moon beach walk on Monday, 18 February was again a great success.

Over 140 people and six dogs enjoyed a twilight stroll on our golden beach.

The moon rose at 7pm, just as we were heading up to the skiboat clubhouse to socialise and braai on the fires which were so kindly lit for us.

This monthly walk has been happening since January 2015 and it grows in popularity each month. It was initiated by My Sapphire Community as a means of bringing the community together, doing something which most residents are loathe to do alone like walk on the beach at night.
