Stolen bakkie recovered in Lovu Township

The vehicle had two tracking devices on it which were both compromised in KwaMakhutha.

A vehicle stolen from Fynn Road, Amanzimtoti in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 26 February, was recovered by the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) in Lovu Township hours later.

CCPO committee member, George Snodey said they received information regarding a white Toyota Hilux bakkie that was spotted in the township. “With the help of Blue Security and ET Rapid Response, the vehicle was recovered. It had two tracking devices on it, which were both compromised in KwaMakhutha. The vehicle’s ignition was damaged and the canopy was missing.”
