Officers maintain fitness through soccer matches

The game was a nail-biter and the teams drew 2-2.

The SAPS Ethekwini Outer South (EOS) cluster hosted the north cluster soccer team at Isipingo Sports Ground on Friday, 22 February to engage in a friendly match.

SAPS encourages its members to participate in sport to ensure that they maintain their fitness and also de-stress. Members from both clusters cheered and sang songs to show their support for the teams.

The first goal was scored by the EOS cluster which put pressure on the EON team. They rose to the challenge and netted an equaliser. The rest of the game was a nail-biter, which saw the teams draw 2-2.

β€œIt was a great game to watch, and there was so much enthusiasm from both teams. We look forward to inviting and being invited by other clusters to many more friendly matches,” said acting EOS cluster commander, Brigadier Vukani Mgobhozi.
