Best times to keep your phone away from you

Promote conversations by leaving your phone behind.

We have to admit, our society is becoming a colony of zombies. Noses to our phones, we are missing a lot in our lives such as the beautiful scenery.

There are times when we need to put our phones down not only for our sanity but because it is polite. Some people don’t appreciate talking to the walls.

Good times to leave your phones alone:

Restaurants: This is the one place where phones should be banned because it’s the one place where we can enjoy each other’s conversations and not worry about who posted what on social media.  These days we are obsessed with taking pictures of our food but there should be a limit.

In the car: Not only is distracting but extremely dangerous especially if you are the driver.

Walking: Walking and using your phone can be a real health hazard. All your concentration is focused on the phone so you are not aware of what is in front of you, ahead of you or following you. It is risk.

In bed:  According to www.webmd.com, using cell phones, computers, and video games just before bedtime and in the middle of the night, as teens and young adults say they often do – is robbing many of much-needed shut-eye.
