Welfare society to empower youth

Youth between the ages of 18 to 35 are encouraged to attend this free workshop.

Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare Society will host a youth mentorship day at its offices next to Kingsburgh library, 2 Hall Road in Warner Beach on 20 and 21 February.

“Our office is easy to access from Warner Beach railway station. The aim of the programme is to empower youth in the following life skills, including CV writing, preparing for interviews, interviewing skills and drawing up a life purpose plan,” said senior social worker, Sandra Govender.

Youth between the ages of 18 to 35 are encouraged to attend this free workshop. Booking is essential, as space is limited. To book your place, call Sandra on 031-916-2274.

“We will also conduct follow-up workshops in March focusing on business and entrepreneurship skills.”
