Thief nabbed with stolen ladder in Amanzimtoti

It was established that the ladder was stolen from Athol Paton Drive.

The Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) arrested a thief and recovered a stolen ladder on Thursday, 7 February. “While patrolling in Blaze Way, Amanzimtoti, CCPO and Blue Security patrol officer, Mbuyiselo ‘Triple M’ Mdunjane and his crewman Mbambo Nhlanhla spotted a man carrying an aluminium ladder,” said CCPO committee member, George Snodey.

With the assistance of CCPO supervisor Michael Mhike, it was established the ladder was stolen from Athol Paton Drive. The resident opened a case and the thief was detained by Amanzimtoti SAPS.

The man was arrested with the ladder which was stolen from Athol Paton Drive.
