Residents encouraged to attend final voter registration
Statistics reveal that more than 40 per cent of eligible voters are not yet registered.
Residents have been advised to take note of the final voter registration weekend on 26 and 27 January from 8am to 5pm.
Voter registration points within the Amanzimtoti suburban area include: Athlone Park library, Umbogintwini Primary School, Kuswag Skool, Amanzimtoti Civic Centre, Doon Heights Primary School, Lions club, Hall Road, Warner Beach and Warner Beach Preparatory junior primary.
Statistics reveal that more than 40 per cent of eligible voters are not yet registered, which excludes them from exercising their constitutional right to vote in the 2019 national and provincial elections.
