GALLERIA Mall has expressed its condolences to the family of Insp Johan Deysel.

‘‘We are shocked by the loss of Officer Johan Deysel’s life in an incident on Arbour Road and extend our heartfelt condolences to Mrs Deysel and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
‘‘We support Metro Police fully in terms of law enforcement and have been in contact with Metro continuously to curb traffic violations on Arbour Road,’’ said Galleria GM, Kurt Hoggan.

Addressing the leaked CCTV footage, the mall management said the video was not authorised for public distribution.
‘‘The video footage of this incident was released without any sanction by a person in the employ of our security service provider, who has been suspended pending an investigation.’’
