Teamwork leads to armed robber’s arrest

The CCPO, Amanzimtoti SAPS, Blue Security, ET Rapid Response and tracking company worked together to apprehend the man.

Teamwork between local crime fighters lead to the swift arrest of an armed robber on Friday morning, 11 December.
The Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) reported that the man threatened a woman with a knife during a house robbery in Maude Road in Warner Beach, stole her phone and fled.

The CCPO, Amanzimtoti SAPS, Blue Security, ET Rapid Response and tracking company chased the man and caught him in the bush in front of a local store in Warner Beach. The phone and the knife were both recovered and the man was arrested by Amanzimtoti SAPS. “Great teamwork once again with all involved communicating on the CCPO radio network,” said the CCPO.
