The Animal Christmas Dinner Fund received a boost over the festive season break. These included donations of R300 from Charles and Ann Swart ‘on behalf of all our pets both past and present’, R200 from Audrey Doyle of Durban and Lisa Brink of Perth, Australia ‘in memory of both our beloved pets’, and R200 from the Nells ‘wishing you all a ‘pawfect’ Christmas’.
The Toti public still has a chance to donate to the Animal Christmas Dinner Fund before the closing date on Tuesday, 15 January. The fund’s contributions go towards food for the homeless, abandoned and destitute animals that are housed by the SPCA.
People who wish to contribute can have a short message printed in the SUN on behalf of a pet. Just email the amount of your donation and a message to strandburg@lantic.net or tracey@spcatoti.co.za, or fax to 031-903-5756, attention Earl.
Send donations either to the SPCA or Marlene Prinsloo at unit 31, Poinsettia Park, 619 Kingsway, Amanzimtoti, 4126. Cheques must be made out to Amanzimtoti SPCA. Should you wish to make a direct deposit, use the following banking details of the SPCA: Standard Bank Prospecton, account number: 053211189, branch code: 057827, reference ‘Christmas’.
