Help Domino Foundation fight the plight

The Domino Foundation’s seven programmes impact some 12,000 needy people through feeding programmes.

The Domino Foundation appeals to the community to partner with it by generously contributing to the ‘Fight The Plight’ campaign this festive season. ‘Christmas cheer will be a non-starter for a very large proportion of South Africans. In fact, for them, cheer of any description will be largely unknown throughout 2019 and beyond.

The Domino Foundation, an NPO operating in KZN and the Western Cape, has a driving vision to see South Africans living with dignity, justice, hope and purpose. Its seven programmes impact some 12,000 needy people through feeding programmes both North and South of the city (the programme is feeding about 4,000 children in the South basin area) and in the Durban CBD.

The Foundation has put out a call to South Africans whose hearts are moved by the material, emotional, educational, and social poverty of so many of their fellow citizens to respond and Fight The Plight.

Shaun Tait, operations manager of The Domino Foundation, said, “We are asking 2,000 individuals to make a once-off donation of R500 before 31 December, so that we can continue to grow the effectiveness and reach of our programmes to impact significantly the lives of our beneficiaries, many of whom are among the most vulnerable in our country”.

Shaun said if members of the community are moved to be part of this drive to “Fight The Plight”, to visit the foundation’s website www.dominofoundation.org.za or call him on 031-563-9605.
