Housebreaker strikes again in Toti

The owners were unaware that a housebreaking had taken place and had to be woken up.

A repeat housebreaker was nabbed by Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) foot patrol guards in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, 27 November) after he broke into a garage in Seadoone Road and stole a bicycle.

“The owners were unaware that a housebreaking had taken place and had to be woken up,” said CCPO committee member, George Snodey.

“This same suspect was tackled in Horseshoe Place by the Metro Police K9 unit about a year ago for house breaking. We are not sure why he is already back out on the streets but it seems, even after being tackled by a dog, he didn’t learn his lesson.”
