Dinner fund donations gain pace

The fund’s contributions go towards food for the homeless, abandoned and destitute animals that are housed by the SPCA.

After a slow first week, donations have flooded in this week for this year’s Animal Christmas Dinner Fund and Amanzimtoti SPCA thanks the generous Toti public.

This week’s donations include R500 from Carol Dixie-Carlyn Ice ‘happy Christmas to all the fur babies waiting to be adopted into loving homes’; R100 from Chris and Rina Hyman ‘in memory of our beloved pets Shandy, Bruno, Roxy, Lucky, Missy and Pete’; R500 from Marion Cillie ‘thanks for my yorkie Jojo and in fond memory of Whoopie who passed on this year’; R100 from Daphne Scot ‘in loving memory of Wally’; R50 from anonymous ‘in loving memory of Garfield and Blacky’ and R150 from Eva ‘in memory of Specki, Mim and Murr’.

The Toti public can help by donating to the Animal Christmas Dinner Fund. The fund’s contributions go towards food for the homeless, abandoned and destitute animals that are housed by the SPCA.

People who wish to contribute can have a short message printed in the SUN on behalf of a pet. Just email the amount of your donation and a message to strandburg@lantic.net or tracey@spcatoti.co.za, or fax to 031-903-5756, attention Earl.

Send donations either to the SPCA or Marlene Prinsloo at unit 31, Poinsettia Park, 619 Kingsway, Amanzimtoti, 4126. Cheques must be made out to Amanzimtoti SPCA.
