Slow start for dinner fund

The Toti public can help by donating to the Animal Christmas Dinner Fund.

Donations for this year’s Animal Christmas Dinner Fund have started off slow in the first week. Thanks to the generosity of the grade R class at Stepping Stones Academy in Doonside, who donated R500 towards helping Amanzimtoti SPCA feed stray animals over the festive season. The Schekman family also donated R500 ‘in loving memory of all our pets’.

The Toti public can help by donating to the Animal Christmas Dinner Fund. The fund’s contributions go towards food for the homeless, abandoned and destitute animals that are housed by the SPCA.

People who wish to contribute can have a short message printed in the SUN on behalf of a pet. Just email the amount of your donation and a message to strandburg@lantic.net or tracey@spcatoti.co.za, or fax to 031-903-5756, attention Earl.

Send donations either to the SPCA or Marlene Prinsloo at unit 31, Poinsettia Park, 619 Kingsway, Amanzimtoti, 4126. Cheques must be made out to Amanzimtoti SPCA. Should you wish to make a direct deposit, use the following banking details of the SPCA: Standard Bank Prospecton, account number: 053211189, branch code: 057827, reference ‘Christmas’.
