Cyclist’s epic two-wheel South Asian tour to clock up Hospice donations

The entire route will be ridden by bicycle.

A cyclist from Kloof is ready to start clocking the kilometers to raise much-needed funds for Khanya Hospice while cycling through India and Sri Lanka.

“Ron Joubert has always been a great supporter of our work and he wanted to help in his own way,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald. “It’s a dream come true.”

Ron is in India already. He arrived at Delhi airport on 27 October. The entire route will be ridden by bicycle. This is from New Delhi to Agra, Kampur, Goranhpur, Varanassi, Udapur, Nagpur, Guntakal, Bengaluru and Kochin.

“He has a few South African flags which he will distribute along the way and will pass on the best wishes from SA to His Excellency, France K Morule, the High Commissioner of SA in New Delhi. Thereafter, he will continue to cycle through Sri Lanka,” said Neil.
