Sup’paw’t SPCA’s dinner fund project

People who wish to contribute can have a short message printed in the SUN on behalf of a pet.

It’s that time of the year when you can help Amanzimtoti SPCA feed stray animals over the festive season, a period when the organisation is inundated with animals who require assistance.

Guy Fawkes Day and the fireworks season are looming, which is festive for some but not for four-legged friends who suffer the most with the big bangs. It is an immense task for the SPCA, that relies on donations to feed and house these animals.

The Toti public can help by donating to the Animal Christmas Dinner Fund. The fund’s contributions go towards food for the homeless, abandoned and destitute animals that are housed by the SPCA.

People who wish to contribute can have a short message printed in the SUN on behalf of a pet. Just email the amount of your donation and a message to strandburg@lantic.net or tracey@spcatoti.co.za, or fax to 031-903-5756, attention Earl.

“I will kick-start this year’s fund with a donation of R200 in memory of Misty and Honey and all my beloved pets,” said fund co-ordinator, Marlene. “Last year we collected a record R30,050 and hopefully this year, with the Toti public’s generosity, we can match or even surpass that.”
