THE quick reaction of NPA officers manning the weigh-bridge on the N2 on Monday, led to the arrest of a man in possession of R129,000.

The officers based at Umzinto pulled a car off the road at about 6am. The car looked in poor shape and as officer Henry Munsammy approached the vehicle, he noticed a R50 note between the driver’s legs. He then discovered the driver had R50 notes stuffed into each of his pockets.
