Lionism in the spotlight

If you are an ordinary person who would like to make a different in someone’s life, we at Amanzimtoti Lions Club would like you to join our team.

EDITOR – We are ordinary people, with families and jobs.

We are nobody special, yet in some small way we are special, that’s why we are Lions.

We offer our free time in making someone else’s needs more important.

We dedicate our spare time to helping others who have needs.

We feed the hungry.

We take care of our senior citizens. We look after the local community by doing diabetes testing and eye screening.

We help local schools and crèches with whatever their needs might be. We help start eco-gardens and educate the less fortunate in trying to do something for themselves.

We do maintenance and repairs where needed.

We are educating the young with reading programmes. We help the sick with wheelchairs, beds and so on.

We help and support other Lions clubs in their projects and in this way, we learn something new ourselves each day.

We have functions with fun and laughter and get to know our fellow Lions on a personal basis.

We are nobody special, we are just everyday people called Lions. We are the Amanzimtoti Lions Club.
