Winner croons her way to LA in mall talent showcase

A whirlwind of amazing performances from finalists who hailed from across Durban drew mall-goers on the morning.

THE finals of the coveted Galleria’s Got Talent competition, which took place on Saturday morning, 29 September, was an awe-inspiring occasion which showcased the raw talent of the competitors.

The prizes up for grabs had everyone singing, dancing and performing to the best of their capability.

A whirlwind of amazing performances from finalists who hailed from across Durban drew mall-goers on the morning.

The more than 500 entries saw the competition deemed a great success. The winner was singer Marianthe Panas, who won a trip for two to Hollywood, Los Angeles. Her five-day trip includes flights, accommodation and a VIP tour of Universal Studios sponsored by STA Travel.

Galleria made dreams come true by also awarding R10,000 and R5,000 to second and third places respectively.
Kingsway High School’s Keeley Crocker placed third to claim the R5,000 prize.

The second-placed entrant’s details were not available at the time of going to print.
