Criminals wanted for serious crimes arrested after Bluff burglary

Two women alerted the authorities when they saw the duo hop a fence

TWO criminals wanted for a range of serious crimes across the country were caught moments after they burgled a Lloyd Avenue, Bluff home on Tuesday, 25 September.
Two women alerted the authorities when they saw the duo hop a fence after breaking into a house and granny flat.
Craig Cauldron from ET Rapid Response said they monitored the men after they received information about their activities. “Myself and members of COP, SAPS housebreaking unit and the Metro K9 team managed to track them down and boxed them in on the corner of Valente Place and Sormany Road. When arresting them, numerous questions were asked about where they came from,” said Cauldron.

Commenting on Facebook, the home owner Riaan Brits thanked all those involved for catching the criminals. “Hopefully, they will be put in jail and not let out, even on bail, as they are on the wanted list. Thanks to all involved, especially the neighbour who reported this to the security company,” read his post.
