CCPO: Keep valuables out of sight

The CCPO encountered a few incidents where burglars were able to remove items through open windows.

A DOONHEIGHTS flat resident alerted CCPO at 4am on a Friday morning, about two burglars on the premises.

Within two minutes CCPO and Blue Security were on the scene, however the intruders saw them arrive and escaped over a front gate.

The CCPO has encountered a few incidents where burglars were able to remove items through open windows.

The CCPO warns residents to ensure that valuables are kept out of sight.

“If the burglar can’t reach it, they will smash a window, grab the desired item and flee,” said CCPO’s George Snodey.
