CCPO nabs wanted suspects

The men were found with a firearm and knife in their possession.

The Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) had a massive break-through yesterday (Tuesday, 18 September), when two suspects, believed to be involved in house robberies in the Doonheights and St Winifreds areas, were arrested.

CCPO and Blue Security patrol officer, Mbuyiselo ‘Triple M’ Mdunjane and his crewman Mbambo Nhlanhla were in Anna Scheepers Drive when they noticed the two men looking for a target. “They tried to catch them but they managed to escape.

“Later on Triple M returned to the area and found the men in Morewood Drive. They changed their clothes, but fortunately he recognised them,” said CCPO committee member, George Snodey. This time they were unable to escape and a firearm and knife were found in their possession.
