AMANZIMTOTI SPCA has deemed its fundraiser dinner which took place on Saturday night, 1 September, a complete success, with some 85 people attending and R7,000 raised to help buoy the shelter.

All those who attended complimented Indian Origin in Warner Beach for the delicious Indian cuisine served that night.

“Thank you so much to everyone who attended the Toti SPCA fundraising dinner. The turn-out was amazing,” said organiser Stacey Wall.

Speaking on behalf of the SPCA, Stacey paid gratitude to those who made the night possible and special. “Thank you to the lovely people from South Coast Photo Booth, who sponsored their service so all our guests could get free photos on the night. DJ Shaun Callaghan kept the music playing and the spirits high. Thanks also to Steve and Carol from Monkey Helpline for the informative talk,” said Stacey.

“None of this would have been possible without Priya and her wonderful team at Indian Origin Family Restaurant for putting the evening together. The decor, the food, everything was perfect. We can’t express how grateful we are to you.”

Fellow organiser, Michelle Hannan further thanked Tara Aberdeen for her donation of a handbag and an Oh So Heavenly pack, Natalie Joubert from Drama Durban, Pia Moriarty and Beauty @305 for their vouchers to raffle off.

The local shelter also thanked everyone who attended. Call Toti SPCA on 031-904-2424/5 or visit their 1 Nyati Road offices.
