Men nabbed with stolen goods

All the stolen items were found on him and he was handed over to Toti SAPS.

A number of housebreakers found themselves behind bars thanks to the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO).

On Monday morning, 13 August, CCPO supervisor, Isaac Dindi went in search of a housebreaker who stole a wallet and two pairs of takkies after breaking a window with a rock to gain entry into a Lewis Terrace premises just before 5am.

He saw a man fitting the description in Bernadotte Road. All the stolen items were found on him and he was handed over to Toti SAPS.

On Wednesday, 8 August, a Blue Security and CCPO response officer was in Almond Road when he saw two men carrying a large ladder. Unhappy with their explanation, he called for assistance and it was found the ladder had been stolen from a premises in Mpiti Road in St Winifreds.
