One person was killed when three vehicles collided on the M35 near the Folweni area at about 7.30am today (Monday, 6 August).
“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find three vehicles were involved with two colliding head-on,” said Rescue Care operations director, Garrith Jamieson. “One driver was found severely entrapped in the wreckage and he was declared dead.
A taxi driver sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital.”
The reason for the crash is unknown, however SAPS were on scene and will investigate further.
