Woman nabbed for Winklespruit housebreaking

The homeowner found his TV wrapped in a blanket on his couch and a local prostitute was hiding behind a couch.

A local prostitute was nabbed for housebreaking by the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) on Saturday, 28 July. The CCPO received a report about a housebreaking in progress in Araucaria Road, Winklespruit.

“On arrival it was found that the home owner found his TV wrapped in a blanket on his couch, and on inspection found one of the local prostitutes hiding behind a couch,” said CCPO committee member, George Snodey.

He managed to hold her until the CCPO arrived and handcuffed her. However, a few minutes later she had suddenly disappeared, with the cuffs still on. After a quick search, she was found close by trying to escape, after she had managed to jump a high fence to get away. She was once again detained and taken to Toti SAPS, where she was charged for housebreaking.
