Khanya Hospice’s work honoured with donation

Hospice nurses looked after some of Nikki’s family members a few years ago and she has never forgotten this.

There was great excitement at Khanya Hospice on Thursday, 12 July when Nikki Morris of the Stretch Foundation arrived to hand over a huge donation. The donation of R20,000 was to honour the wonderful work the Khanya Hospice nursing staff are doing in the area.

The Stretch Foundation is a non-profit organisation that supports the education and well-being of South Africans.

“Hospice nurses also looked after some of Nikki’s family members a few years ago and she has never forgotten this,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald. “During this time of celebrating and honoring Madiba’s legacy, Nikki and the Stretch Foundation decided to add their bit to the celebrations and donate to Khanya Hospice. A big thank you to everyone involved in this donation”.

To donate to Hospice, call Neil on 083-597-8985 or email neil@scottnet.co.za.
