The piece of land, which is owned by the Amanzimtoti SPCA, is unable to be utilised as it is overgrown and cluttered. It is well known that time and labour are not things the local shelter has in excess, and for this reason active members of the community decided to tackle the lot this Mandela Day. By clearing this land the shelter, as well as Edu-Paw, who runs with the Amanzimtoti SPCA, will be able to use this land to continue their good work.

The area will be tackled between 9am and 2pm this Mandela Day.

Those interested can make their way to the piece of land at 1 Nyati Road, Athlone Park, next to the Toti SPCA, anytime between these times. Army Saints assured that it would get involved and rally as many helping hands as possible.

Brushcutters, pangas, chainsaws and any other gardening tools are needed to be brought along to make light work.

Check out the Army Saint page.

Bring some refreshments, tools, extra hands and a great attitude.
