Firefighters worked swiftly to douse a fire this morning when a house caught alight on Rockview Road, Amanzimtoti.
The fire department, ET Rapid Response and police attended the scene. When they arrived, they discovered that the Wendy house, attached to the main building, was engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported as there were no occupants in the newly bought house at the time of the incident.

A relative of the homeowner said he was called to the scene by his son who saw the smoke.
Firefighters confirmed that there was structural damage to the Wendy house and the back of the house.
