Local crime fighters nab housebreaker

The man was seen getting off at Pahla station and disappeared into the bushes.

A housebreaker was nabbed through excellent teamwork from various local crime fighters. A report was received this morning (Tuesday, 3 July) from ET Rapid Response of a man trying to break into a house in Massey Road, Warner Beach.

The man was then seen getting onto a train at Warner Beach station. He was observed getting off at Pahla station and disappeared into the bushes. The area was cordoned off by members of the Community Crime Prevention Organisation, Blue Security, ET Rapid Response, Amanzimtoti SAPS. Umlazi K9 unit was joined by Tony Lokker of ET and his K9 partner and together they flushed the man from the bushes, along with the stolen goods.
