Pay your Tekkie Tax through colourful fundraiser

Paying your Tekkie Tax will help support more than 250 welfare organisations.

Be a part of thousands of people, companies, NGOs and schools who will be making a colourful fashion statement this Friday, 25 May while raising funds for charity.

Cancer ambassadors for Amanzimtoti, Errol and Sharon-Ann Theron will man a stand for the Cancer Association of South Africa at Seadoone Mall for Tekkie Tax Day. “There are five charities working together on Friday from 9am,” said Sharon-Ann.

The public can choose a Tekkie Tax sticker for a donation of only R10. There are five different stickers available, each representing a sector. You get to choose where your heart and support lies with the charity of your choice between animals, creating hope, children, disability and education.

Errol and Sharon-Ann Theron, cancer ambassadors for Amanzimtoti, get into the spirit of Tekkie Tax Day with Seadoone Mall manager, Bev Koekemoer.

Next step is to buy a pair of awesome Tekkie Tag shoelaces. They are full of bling this year and you can cheer up your tekkies with these laces. “We will be selling the coloured shoe laces at R35 a pack and we will be spraying people’s hair at a cost of R50 for adults and R30 for children. Join in the fun and support this worthy cause,” said Sharon-Ann.
