New chapter begins for Mthombeni Primary School pupils

The pupils were entertained by Mzwa, a professional storyteller.

It was a day of learning and fun for Mthombeni Primary School pupils when Amanzimtoti library hosted them for a teenage empowerment workshop in the library garden on Thursday, 17 May.

The workshop was held by representatives of Operation Bobby Bear, Happy Drums, the environmental health department and Mzwa, a professional storyteller, who was invited to entertain the pupils.

“Libraries play a vital role in shaping and advancing people’s lives, hence the Amanzimtoti library felt the need to empower these young children with skills they do not receive at their school,” said librarian Slindile Mosia.
