A Hillcrest man is on a mission to cycle around the world to raise funds for Khanya Hospice. Ron Joubert is travelling the world for his own experience but decided it will also be a unique way to raise much-needed funds for Hospice.

“Ron is going to cycle America first, as it is summer there and is warm and he would also like to do parts of Europe and India, and is also looking at Australia at a later stage,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald. “He completed a solo bicycle ride in Australia a year ago and enjoyed that tremendously. He travels light with a one-man tent and very little clothes.”
