Two cows have brought Durban-bound traffic to a standstill this afternoon (Tuesday, 8 May).
A motorist advised the Sun at about 3.30pm that traffic is backing up on the northbound carriageway at the foot of Twini hill, near Prospecton, where two cows are on the freeway.
Police are on the scene, but one cow has laid down in the fast lane, while another is obstructing the other lane.

One Twitter user’s post indicates there has been a car accident involving a cattle truck on the N2 at the bottom of Twini Hill. Traffic is at a standstill right up to the Oppenheimer off ramp.
