Support Clean Surf Project’s worthy ‘course’

Volunteers need to take garden gloves, sun screen and drinking water. Refuse bags will be provided.

Roll up your sleeves and join the Clean Surf Project (CSP) for a clean-up of the Amanzimtoti Golf Course beach on Saturday, 12 May.

The clean-up starts at 8am and should be completed by 10am or 11am. “Volunteers need to take garden gloves, sun screen and drinking water. Refuse bags will be provided,” said CSP’s Denzil van der Westhuizen.

CSP has tackled a number of clean-ups in the greater Toti area since its inception last year , most notably the badly-littered Cuttings Beach in Isipingo and Merebank, and Winklespruit Beach. The team and its volunteers last tackled a clean-up of the Umbogintwini beach on Saturday, 24 March.

For more information, visit the Clean Surf Project Facebook page, call Denzil on 082-802-3353 or email cleansurfproject@gmail.com.
